Poolside Cottage Location
Poolside Cottage is a beautiful executive villa and is located at the end of a quiet, secluded cul de sac on the Indian Ridge Community at Kissimmee, near Orlando, Florida. This is a perfect location for the Disney resorts - within 10 minutes drive. It sits on a large plot with well-maintained gardens and mature trees.
Our beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa sleeps up to 8 and has its own large screened heated pool, air-conditioning and all the comforts of home.
Accommodation
The spacious and airy living/dining room is decorated to a high standard, in a floridian style. It has a large sectional U-shaped sofa, which converts easily into a very comfortable Queen-sized bed. A dining area with large dining table and six chairs, 42" Flat screen cable TV with DVD and surround sound, multi-CD / tuner Hi-Fi unit and High Speed Internet Access. There are also patio doors that lead directly out to the pool.
The Kitchen, with breakfast area, is equipped with a large electric range, dishwasher, garbage disposal unit, fridge/freezer with automatic ice-maker, microwave oven, coffee-maker, and all the implements necessary for feeding the family.
There is also a Games room. Spacious, air-conditioned & is provided to keep kids (of all ages) entertained - with a Playstation 2 c/w 20" TV, an Xbox 360 c/w 32" TV pool table, darts board and bar with table and chairs. (the bar is there for you to stock !!)
The Master bedroom with Cable TV and DVD VHS player and an ensuite luxury bathroom - a door from the bathroom leads directly to the pool area via a covered passage. The bathroom contains his/hers hand-basins, a luxury whirlpool bath and a large separate shower.
The remaining twin bedrooms are separate from the Master suite, and share a bathroom which has a combined WC, WHB and a shower / bath. Both bedrooms have twin beds which can both be converted to Queen size beds and Cable TV.
One of the main features of the villa is the very large South westerly facing pool which has Solar pool heating and optional gas heating for the chillier months. Since it was installed in 2007 the gas heating has hardly ever been on. There is underwater lighting should you decide to take a dip in the evening. The orientation of the pool means that you can sunbathe from morning until the sun goes down at night. Another recent addition in 2007 was the 5 place spa which sits on the deck around the pool where there is also sunloungers, tables and chairs. There is also a large shaded area in case you need to cool down a bit.
A BBQ is also provided, for when you want to cook al fresco.
Indian Ridge is a lovely community which is part residential and part rental and the community amenities are available just round the corner to users of Poolside Cottage where Keys are held for them - these include tennis courts and a large swimming pool - handy if you want to let older kids have a bit of freedom away from things.
The 192 is a short drive to the North, and is famous for its multitude of shops, bars, restaurants, take-aways, supermarkets and entertainments - however, for hassle-free food shopping, the nearest large Publix supermarket is a 5-minute drive south on rural Old Lake Wilson road near the new Champions Gate golf course.
