Away from the huslte and bustle, Mons is a haven of peace and visitors will enjoy the very pleasant walks through its picturesque streets. In summer, the terraces of the Place Saint Sebastien refreshed by their beautiful fountains, are animated. The village also boasts some panoramic views over Mount Faron and Cannes, the Lerins Islands and the Esterel mountain, and as far as St Tropez and even Corsica on a clear day!

Fayence. 15 km. Much visited hill top fortified village, between sea and mountains and surrounded by picturesque Provencal countryside. Also renowned for its gliding centre, often considered the best in Europe.
Grasse. 30 km. Fascinating historic town and world's perfume capital. Explore the delightful narrow streets or go on one of the factory tours offered by some of the most famous perfume houses.

Les Grottes de St Cézaire, St Cézaire sur Siagne. 15 km. Discovered in 1890 by a local farmer whilst working his land. Full of fantastic formations including draperies, stalactites and stalagmites. Spectacular underground landscapes.
Golf du Domaine de Terre Blanche, Tourrettes. 20 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 6616m. One of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe, designed to host professional tournaments and featuring long par 4s. Magnificent views of the hillside villages and oak forests.
St Cassien lake. 25 km. Beautiful lake with clean water and small beaches, and lovely place for windsurfing and other watersports. Ideal to cool off on a hot day!
Aqualand, Fréjus. 50 km. Waterpark. Fantastic waterpark with a great number of water rides for the whole family, including the largest wave pool in Europe and the huge Twin-Twister water slide. Not for the faint hearted!

Fréjus. 45 km. Seaside resort, ancient military port and Roman city, with a rich and impressive historical and architectural heritage. Some stunning scattered Roman remains can still be seen including one of the largest amphitheatres from Gallic times and a Roman theatre still in use for summer events.
Draguignan. 45 km. Pleasant town once a military centre but now with tourist and cultural attractions. Lovely avenues lined with plane trees surround the old city. Excellent shopping and markets. Several museums.
Cannes. 50 km. Beachside resort with its large promenade, chic boutiques, restaurants, bars, shops and festivals including the famous Cannes film festival in May each year. A walk along the “Croisette”, harbour and sandy beaches is a must.
Flayosc. 55 km. Pretty town with typical Provencal streets and great views from the church out across the vineyards.
